Perfect for all levels of teaching experience, this workshop reviews the materials, processes, and pacing of the Bornoff Approach in a heterogeneous or homogeneous class setting. It's a great place to get started with the approach, to improve your own playing on a primary or secondary instrument, and to ask detailed questions on how to use it in YOUR program. Focus will be on the processes of "Creative Review" and "Adaptive Lesson Pacing" as we explore three main components of performance at the beginning through intermediate levels: Tone Production, Patterning and Intonation, Music Literacy. Teachers $225; College Students/Faculty and El Sistema Teaching Artists FREE. Facilitators: Debbie Lyle, Felipe Morales-Torres, and guests.
