Dual Membership

Dual membership offers two memberships at a reduced rate of $199/year for pairs of members residing at the same address. Dual members receive all ASTA member benefits (click the link below for more!), but receive one print copy of American String Teacher instead of two.

Joining as a Dual Member
We're happy you've decided to join us as a dual member! The following instructions detail how to set up your dual household to ensure that you are making full use of your membership.
1. Click "Join Now" below.
2. When prompted, name your company "[LAST_NAME] Household". Different last names? Please hyphenate: "[Name1]-[Name2] Household".
3. Complete the checkout process.
You've now joined as a dual member! To add your partner to the membership, continue with the following steps:
4. Navigate to your "Company Profile".
5. Select the "People" tab, and click the purple button to add a user.
6. If your partner already has an account, search for them by name to add them. If they do not yet have an account, click "Add a New User" and input their name and email, so they can make an account.
7. Once added, make sure that their user's role is "Account Owner" and the setting "Inherits Benefits" is set to "Yes".
Your dual membership is now set up! Both users will receive membership in our system, enabling access to the full range of benefits afforded to ASTA members.
