Individual Membership

All individual members receive the same suite of benefits, including membership in your state chapter and officer voting rights. Membership applications are available online through the following links or through our application form by mail (see below).
$49 annually
Student
A reduced rate offered for full-time students. To be eligible, students must provide a date of birth, anticipated graduation date, and evidence of full-time enrollment.
$89 annually
Senior
A reduced rate available for members aged 62 and older. Eligible birth date required.
$99 for 1 year
New Professional
This reduced rate is available for 1 year for those new to the ASTA community, student members joining as professional members, or returning members who have been inactive for three or more years.
$125 annually
Professional
Our standard individual membership, open to all string teachers, performers, and supporters of the string community.
$199 annually
Dual Membership
A reduced rate covering two Professional memberships for couples residing at the same address.
