In addition to membership with the national organization, joining ASTA provides membership in a local state chapter. There are also opportunities to join a number of existing student chapters, or start your own!
State Chapters
State chapters are an effective conduit for handling localized issues. The dynamic between the national organization and state chapters helps ensure that ASTA members' needs are met at all levels. Student Chapters
ASTA collegiate student chapters provide valuable opportunities for leadership, career development, and lasting relationships between peers and mentors. Many active chapters already exist at colleges and universities across the country, and if there isn't one at your institution, it's a simple process to create one to begin engaging with your fellow students and the larger string community.
