This five-day music camp welcomes violin, viola, cello, and bass players from rising 5th through rising 12th grade. At Vivo, students will learn from expert string conductors, receive coaching from professional musicians, be inspired by master artists, and explore engaging music electives. String Crossings Camp

String Crossings is Belmont University’s annual week-long summer camp where current high school string students learn and perform music from a diverse set of genres including classical, jazz, rock, celtic, swing, and bluegrass. Students have the opportunity to study with Belmont's world-renowned faculty, explore creative musicianship and technique in all styles, participate in interactive performances, and immerse themselves in an exciting week of making music with new friends! Deadline to apply is May 1, 2025. Application Fee is $100. Residential Camp Fee is $875.00/ Commuter Camp Fee is $575.00. Instructors: Belmont University String Faculty.

At IIMIF, we focus on chamber music and solo performance. With a selective enrollment of up to 30 students, we provide personalized attention and foster a supportive, inclusive environment. Join us in the beautiful hills of southeast Ohio for our annual Summer Music Academy. String players rehearse and perform with an orchestral chamber ensemble as well as smaller chamber groups, while being coached by Ohio University faculty. The experience culminates in a public performance on the campus of Ohio University. High School students are encouraged to apply.
