5 Things to Know About the NEW ASTA Website

1. You'll need to set up a new account

Setting up a new account will give you access to manage your membership and start taking advantage of all the exciting new features of the platform. Don't panic—even though you'll need to create a new account, your membership information is safely stored in our systems, and will be automatically linked as soon as you set up your account. See our guide below to learn more about how to set up your new ASTA account.

2. Intuitively manage your membership

Managing your membership is easier than ever on our new platform. Once you're logged in, check out your personal membership page to view your current membership status and preview where you'll be able to pay for renewals. And renewing couldn't be easier either, with streamlined autorenewal functions, including monthly installment options.

3. The ASTA community is more connected than ever

Our new online community replaces ASTA Connect and offers even more opportunities to connect with fellow ASTA members. Simply log in to your account and click on the "Community" tab. You'll be able to create posts, respond to others, and interact in both the general community space and in groups tailored to you as a member—from state chapters to interest areas and more!

4. Everything for every event, all in one place

The new Events page has it all—you can view event information, register, attend virtual events, view recordings, and more. We launched the platform with our inaugural Virtual String Teachers Summit in July, and all session recordings from that event are available for access. Register today to check it out!

5. More will be added every day

Setting up a new website takes a lot of work—you'll have to trust us on this one. We've ensured that core member needs are covered by this new website from day one, but it may take some time for us to get every single page launched. The good thing? It will all be well worth the wait. Our new website is more powerful and intuitive than ever, and we couldn't be happier to have you here with us.
