2026 George Bornoff Memorial Scholarship (FASE)
Amanda Conrade is the Orchestra Director at Fort Riley Middle School in USD 475 - Geary Country Schools (KS) where she teaches 6-8 grade orchestras. Serving a transient population, she shares her enthusiasm for learning a string instrument with her students through solo, chamber music, and orchestral settings. Amanda also enjoys performing professionally with the Manhattan Symphony Orchestra, the Flint Hills Messiah Orchestra, and the Flint Hills Masterworks Chorale. She is a graduate of Baker University and Kansas State University.

The Foundation for the Advancement of String Education (FASE) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that promotes the philosophy and pedagogy of Dr. George Bornoff by providing financial support for the development of string education and teacher training.
