With 19 acclaimed albums and partnerships spanning the U.S. State Department, Chamber Music America, and Lincoln Center, Christian Howes has spent three decades helping teachers cultivate more versatile, expressive, and expansive musicianship in themselves and their students. Shaped by unique experiences that broadened his own learning, he has visited nearly 1,000 orchestra classrooms. Through Creative Strings, his current online curriculum project—supported by the National Endowment for the Arts—offers free YouTube play-alongs, ongoing Zoom training, and a PWYC comprehensive Teachers’ Method.
