ASTA Collegiate Conversations
For college and university faculty
ASTA is launching a new way for you to engage with your string collegiate peers. These virtual, moderated conversations will focus on one topic to allow for idea sharing and robust discussion. Attendance is limited.
Here's how it works
Audience: College and university faculty
Time out of your schedule: 60 minutes
Format: Virtual — Highly interactive — Learn and collaborate with your peers — Come prepared to ask questions, share solutions, and collaborate on ways to tackle university string-specific issues

- August 11, 2020 — 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm ET — Collegiate String Education Courses — Moderated by Michael Hopkins, University of Michigan
- August 18, 2020 — 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm ET — Conductors/Ensembles — Moderated by Doug Droste, Ball State University

Here's how to register
Register below for one or more conversations. You must sign in to register. First come, first served. Each conversation is limited to 50 participants to facilitate discussion. Priority is given to current ASTA members. If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org to allow a wait-listed participant to engage. Registration is nontransferable. The platform used for conversations is Zoom.
