Starting a Student Chapter

What you need to get started:

1. Student chapter president and a faculty advisor
2. List of students participating in your chapter (you can always add additional students at any time)
3. Complete the 2022-2023 ASTA Student Chapter Registration and Renewal Form and that's it! 

ASTA supports an extensive network of student chapters. These chapters create valuable opportunities for professional development, leadership, and lasting relationships between peers and mentors.

ASTA student chapters support your academic studies, power your network, and provide opportunities that will propel your career in strings education. In addition, many student chapters are involved with outreach to provide service to their community and spread the value of music, strings, and string education.
