Funding Ideas to Attend the ASTA Conference:
Apply for any Professional Development or PTSA Grants to help with registration and travel costs
Contact your School Booster Organization – often there are continuing education funds available
Book travel arrangements early and search for the best fares.
Talk to other local teachers and plan to travel together. Shared travel and lodging can really help.
Contact your ASTA state or student chapter to see if there are any scholarships or grants available.

Apply before December 4, 2018. 

Earn College Credits
Attend the national conference and receive credit hours to use toward certificate/ license renewal or apply to college programs. 

Shenandoah Conservatory College Credit

Shenandoah University will offer undergraduate and graduate credit in conjunction with the American String Teachers Association National Conference. Up to three credits-offered concurrently in three individual courses of one credit each-may be earned at the undergraduate or graduate level. This credit may be used for certificate/licensure renewal or applied to degree programs. Shenandoah University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and School and National Association of Schools of Music.
