The Warm-up as the Vehicle to Rehearsal Success

Alexander and Giray will use standard examples from the educational repertoire to highlight how the warm-up time can be used to isolate and perfect difficult passages in literature. A sequenced approach to rehearsal pedagogy will be discussed and specific examples will be addressed (Holst – St. Pauls Suite, Bach/Isaac – Brandenburg Concerto #5, etc.). A demonstration group will be on hand to demonstrate each example.
