Registration Terms & Regulations
Payment may be made by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or American Express) or check. All fees are in U.S. dollars. If you are issuing a check from outside the U.S., the check must be bank-issued in U.S. funds (not handwritten).

All checks must be made payable to: ASTA or American String Teachers Association. Check payments via regular mail must be sent to: ASTA, 4155 Chain Bridge Road, Fairfax, VA 22030.
Payments are typically processed within 10 business days. Payments that are not received and/or post-marked by the registration deadlines will be subject to additional fees. ASTA is not responsible for delayed mail or incorrectly addressed correspondence.
EXHIBIT CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
All cancellations of allowable exhibit contract items must be made in writing and received by the ASTA National Office no later than February 1, 2021. NO EXCEPTIONS. Any cancellations made after this date obligate the exhibitor to make the FULL payment of the contracted items. All cancellations made prior to the cancellation deadline incur a 10% cancellation processing fee of the total contracted amount. Cancellations made within the accepted time frame will receive a refund of the money paid minus the cancellation processing fee. Any refund due will be issued and mailed within 30 days of the close of the ASTA National Conference. All cancelled items revert back to the show management for resale.
MUSIC PERFORMANCE AND LICENSING
Live or recorded music attractions used in the virtual exhibit booth must have prior written approval from ASTA. It is the sole and exclusive responsibility of the exhibiting company to arrange for performance and mechanical licenses for copyrighted music used in booths. Exhibitors will indemnify and defend ASTA against any claims or suits alleging copyright infringement for the use of music by the exhibitor.
SHARING/SUBLETTING OF VIRTUAL BOOTHS
No exhibitor shall assign, sublet, or apportion the whole or any part of the virtual booth space, or have representatives, equipment, or materials from other than their own firm in the rented space. Only the name of the exhibitor which appears on the contract will be listed in the exhibitor directory and virtual show floor. Should an exhibitor cancel, exhibit space reverts back to show management for resale.
LISTING AND PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS
By exhibiting at the ASTA conference, exhibitors grant ASTA fully-paid, perpetual non-exclusive license to use, display, and reproduce the company name, contact information, and any photographs taken of you or the exhibit floor containing your booth during the conference for future promotional materials. ASTA shall not be liable for any errors or omissions of any listings or descriptions.

CONSENT TO USE PHOTOS
Registration and attendance at, or participation in, the ASTA National Conference and its affiliated events and activities constitutes an agreement by the attendee to ASTA's use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the individual’s image, likeness, or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions, and audiotapes of such events and activities for promotional purposes.
CONFIRMATION AND COMMUNICATION
ASTA will communicate important information leading up to the conference by email, including login access.
